Thank you for all the positive feedback we have been receiving about our new online learning journey and software system Famly. We are all really pleased with how well it has been received. Don’t forget to add to your child’s journey by emailing “Wow Moments” to manager@monkeypuzzlealtrincham.co.uk
A huge thank you to all that have already donated new toys/gifts to this very worthy cause. It’s great to know that we will help so many children wake up with a smile on their face this Christmas. Its not too late to donate – Key 103 will be collecting all donations on Friday 15th December so feel free to spread the word!
We invite all children who attend nursery on a Friday to come in wearing their favourite Christmas jumper in line with national Christmas Jumper Day. We will be making a donation to Save the Children so if you would like to donate please bring in £1 and we will add it to the donation on your behalf.
In line with our Safeguarding Policy, we kindly ask that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you hold the foyer door open for anybody allowing them access into the main body of the nursery. We know that this can seem a little over the top when you recognise the person behind you but it is something that we MUST INSIST on and if we all sing from the same hymn sheet then no one will expect anything different. Many thanks for your understanding with this matter.
Please advise a member of staff if your child is on any medication. You do not need to send any pain relief (Calpol or equivalent) into nursery. We have our own supply which is kept away from children at all times.
If your child is unwell or unable to attend nursery for any reason, we ask that you call up to inform us so that we can alter our registers accordingly. You can also notify us via the Famly App by logging in as normal. Guidance on how long children need to stay off nursery due to illness can be found in our Sickness & Illness Policy.
We would like to update Famly Sign in with photographs of adults that collect your child from nursery to aid our safeguarding practice. Therefore, please can we ask that you send a photo of anyone (including yourself) who picks or may pick your child up from nursery to manager@monkeypuzzlealtrincham.co.uk Please ensure that it is just a clear, head shot only.
The Parents page on our website is now live. Here you will find all our policies and lots of other important information. Parents will be sent the password via email.
